Filter Media are used to process waste and remove impurities from the water in your reef tank or freshwater tank. Filters keep your water quality pristine and inhabitants healthy. We typically recommend you use live rock and sand in a reef tank and for inline filters run a Phosphate reactor with carbon or phosphate removers as your inline filters. Protein Skimmers

BioPellets

A protein skimmer is one of the most important components of an aquarium. It removes all your organic pollutants and nutrients before they break down. It helps keep your water crystal clear and your aquarium inhabitants healthy.

Nitrates and Phosphates are a never ending battle and using products such as Warner Marine EcoBAK Biopellets along with a NextReef SMR1 reactor can eliminate the buildup of these organic wastes.
