We are proud to introduce you to our Super Reef Octopus® product line. With the most innovative skimmer and calcium reactor designs on the market there is no reason to look any further. The use of our Bubble Blaster/Water Blaster pumps include a 3 year warranty. We offer 3 different skimmer designs to meet any design want or space limitations you may have.

The SSS stands for Super Sump Saver. This model incorporates all the same benefits of the SRO design but has the pump built into the bottom of the skimmer which allows for a much smaller footprint inside the sump. The SRO design is to incorporate a bubble plate diffuser in a cylinder acrylic tube which then transitions to a cone riser into the neck. This means less turbulence in the neck area and more contact time for organic debris to rise and spill into the collection cup. Some key features are over sized acrylic silencers for noise reductions, gate valves for precision water setting and control, and drains on the collection cups. When space is limited look to our SSS models.

Reef Octopus (Honya Corporation) was founded by Martin Zhang in 2004 as a joint venture with David D’Aquin owner and founder of Vue Technology.  It was the vision of both men to build high quality aquarium products to offer to a market that had been saturated with over priced equipment. By utilizing cheap labor available in China both men knew they could offer the same high quality products but for more reasonable pricing to the average hobbyist. It was the vision of David D’Aquin that if he could offer a high quality product at affordable prices he could attract more hobbyists to the saltwater aquarium hobby. Many people in the past were with the thought process that owning a saltwater aquarium was not something they could afford. Because of the commitment of the Reef Octopus family you can expect to find the highest quality saltwater aquarium equipment in the world. Many people are of the opinion that products made in China are not high quality. We want to inform people that we only use the finest materials to build our products. 90% of all the materials used in our manufacturing are imported from Japan, Germany and the United States of America. Our Bubble Blaster and Water Blaster pumps for instance use 100% imported materials to build them.  It is our effort not to hide anything from our customers unlike our competitors. It would be easy for us to make stickers and boxes saying that our products are made in Germany, Japan or some other country that has respected manufacturing reputations. How do we know this you may wonder, because Honya Corporation is building skimmers and acrylic products for almost every major company in the aquarium market. While Honya Corporation builds for other companies in the aquatics industry the Reef Octopus name and products will always be our focus in sales and manufacturing. All other companies and products built by Honya will take a back seat to Reef Octopus products. It is our goal to build the Reef Octopus name as the leader for all aquarium related products. Our facility and machinery is all state of the art. We are now completing the addition to our factory that will be the center of “Reef Octopus Laboratories” We have already hired a team of chemists and biologists who have started work on advanced salt mixtures, test kits, trace elements and many other products that we will soon be introducing to our market.  The fact of the matter is that in this global economy China is the leader of all manufacturing in the world today and we hope that hobbyist will embrace the efforts we are taking to offer high quality saltwater aquarium products and bring them to market at affordable pricing so that the average income household can be apart of this wonderful hobby we all love.
