Description Extended Information   The model series of the Comline DOC skimmers has been developed for an effective and modern protein skimming process in marine biotopes from 200 to 2,000 liters (52 to 528 gal.). They stand out for their compact dimensions at the same time ensuring a high foam cup capacity, and producing a very high throughput on account of their air capacity of 650 or 1,00 l/h (171 or 343 gal./h), for example, depending on the model. Great Skimmer January 17, 2008 Reviewer: bill chapman from nyc   Based on the way the skimmer is built I wouldn't expect it to perform. but I have been very satisfied with how much it skims. No Bang for the buck! January 17, 2008 Reviewer: Ron C from Clifton, NJ United States   I have one on a 37 with a 10 gallon sump. So far I've had it for a little over a month and I'll tell you what, the air stone skimmer I was using on my 20g produced more skim then this thing...I've tried to adjust it both wet and dry and I get the same results. close to nothing. one thing I really hate about it, it the way it's put together... it's made of cheap this plastic that snaps in place to hold it together..it's not what you'd expect for the money Tunze charges for this thing...the other day I took it apart to clean it, another part that was glued in place came out with the pump..I think for the money you can buy a much better skimmer IMO. One more thing. If you have an issue with it and you vent a little frustration about the product Tunze has only one guy in the U.S. taking care of everything..rub him the wrong why and you will get no help.
